Governing Board elects new leadership

Tucson, AZ – Pima Community Colleges Governing Board selected Demion Clinco as chairman and Meredith Hay, Ph.D., during the annual meeting on Jan. 10. Each will serve a one year term.
 
Clinco, succeeds Mark Hanna, who led the five-member Board for the past two years. Clinco is Executive Director of the Tucson Historic Foundation and Vice President of Catalina In-Home Services. He previously served as a member of the Arizona State House of Representatives.
 
He was elected to the PCC Governing Board in November 2016 for the term 2017-2022, representing District 2. He served the Board last year as vice chairman.
 
Hay is former Executive Vice President and Provost of The University of Arizona and currently leads an active brain research laboratory at the U of A College of Medicine. She also is president and founder of ProNeurogen Inc, biopharmaceutical company.
 
She was elected in November 2016 for the term 2017-2022, representing District 4.
