Let’s Get Fit! at Children’s Museum Tucson
FREE indoor and outdoor fun at the Museum’s Health & Wellness Fair
Tucson, AZ (February 20, 2015) – Children’s Museum Tucson invites kids and their families to get out and get active at our sixth Let’s Get Fit! Health & Wellness fair. The fair is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the museum at 200 S. Sixth Ave. in Downtown Tucson. Activities will take place inside the museum, in the courtyard and on the lawn. Admission to the museum is FREE all day, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Families and children of all ages can participate in hands-on activities encouraging a healthy lifestyle and parents have the opportunity to learn about health resources available in our community. Scheduled activities include CPR training, child identification, soccer targets, healthy eating tips and exercise stations. Get your picture taken with Dusty, the Tucson Roadrunner’s mascot, from noon- 1:30 pm! Healthy snacks and food trucks will be available.
Participating guest organizations for Let’s Get Fit! include Arizona Masons CHIP, Banner University Medical Center - Sarver Heart Center, Ben’s Bells Project, Cenpatico, El Grupo cycling, El Rio Community Health Center,  Grow 2B Fit, Health Choice Arizona, Maracana Indoor Sports Li’l Kickers, Pio Decimo Center, Pima County Health Department, Southwest Fair Housing Council and the TUSD Magnet Program.
Free admission for Let’s Get Fit! is made possible through the financial support of our sponsors, Pima County Health Department , Cenpatico, the TUSD Magnet Program and Madden Media.

Children’s Museum Tucson offers fun, hands-on learning through play. The exhibits, programs and special events invite the young and the young-at-heart to discover and explore the arts, sciences and humanities. Children’s Museum Oro Valley is designed for children ages 0-5 and provides exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. The two locations serve more than 200,000 visitors a year.
