Thursday, May 16, 2019 NO CLASS on the following Saturday-TUL Event TOPIC is – Your Credit and Why It’s Important Freddie Mac believes that the single most effective way to prepare consumers for homeownership is to educate them on the importance of using credit wisely. This workshop introduces credit, basic terminology, and the importance of building a better credit record. • Be able to truly describe credit • Learn credit terms • Learn the value of good credit 2. The workshop also reviews the contents of a credit report, as well as the primary credit and consumer protection laws. • Steps to establish good credit • Information in a credit report • Identify the 3 reporting agencies 5.
