Tucson, AZ – The Tucson Botanical Gardens (TBG) will offer free admission to the Gardens on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays during regular Garden hours (8:30am-4:30pm), beginning now through February 13, 2019 for furloughed government employees and one guest. Each government employee will need to provide proof of government employment to gain access for themselves and one guest to enjoy the Gardens. Michelle Conklin, Executive Director of TBG states, “These are stressful days for many. Gardens are nature’s greatest stress reliever and it is our hope that a walk in our Gardens will provide a bit of joy through these difficult times.”
