Reflecting on November's Election

Following a busy election season, we’ve seen the results of several key initiatives and races from November 5th. The Chamber took the following positions:

  • YES on Propositions 312, 138, and 140
  • NO on Proposition 314

We’re particularly pleased with the passage of Proposition 312, which holds local jurisdictions accountable for policy and enforcement failures. This measure provides businesses and private property owners with a way to recover expenses resulting from these oversights.

To learn more about the Chamber’s thoughts on November’s outcomes, check out our President & CEO’s reflections in this press release.

Coming Soon: 2025 Public Policy Guide

Informed by the voices of Tucson’s business community, the Chamber is preparing to launch its 2025 Public Policy Guide. Through September’s Good Morning Tucson event, members shared insights during a group polling session, highlighting key priorities and opportunities for growth. Combined with months of focused discussions by Public Policy Council subcommittees, these insights have shaped a guide reflecting the region’s economic needs. Look for its release in January 2025, offering a comprehensive roadmap for fostering a thriving business environment that will drive the Chamber’s efforts in 2025!
