Reid Park Zoo allows visitors to explore naturalistic habitats housing hundreds of exotic animals from around the world. Reid Park Zoo is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in nurturing wildlife through conservation, research and education. This 24-acre facility is involved in captive breeding programs for several threatened and endangered species. Zoo visitors and experts agree that Reid Park Zoo makes an enjoyable and educational place to spend family time.

Highlights are baby elephant Nandi born in August 2014 along with her family, visitors will also see tigers, lions, giraffes, rhinos, jaguars, bears, zebras, gibbons, lemurs and much more. Activities include camel rides, train, and rides giraffe feeding and Kenya Get Wet.



The Zoo is host to many wild events including its premier gala, ZOOcson, Boo at the zoo, Zoo Lights, Mother's Day breakfast, Summer Safari Friday Nights, Brew at the Zoo, Wine Gone Wild and more.

Every visit to the Zoo isinspiring or inspirational and you can explore your Zoo by attending a class, joining a camp, or bringing a field trip to the Zoo.
