Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Arizona exists to "nurture the health and well-being of children and their families." It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving Southern Arizona since 1981. It offers three core programs- the Ronald McDonald House, two Ronald McDonald Family Room programs, and two Ronald McDonald Care Mobile programs.

About the Ronald McDonald House:

-27 Bedrooms

-Full service kitchens and laundry facilities

-Indoor and outdoor play spaces

-Lactation Suite

-Healing Garden

-No cost to family

-In 2023, families stayed at the Ronald McDonald House 580 times for total of 4,719 nights

About the Ronald McDonald Family Room programs:

-One located on the 4th floor of Banner Children's Diamond Children's Medical Center

-One located just outside the NICU at TMC for Children

-Place for families with hospitalized children to rest and regroup

-Free coffee, snacks, TV, compute station

-Receives 1,400 visitors each month

About the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile programs

-Partnership with Chiricahua Community Health Centers, in Cochise County, and with MHC Healthcare in Pima County

-Mobile unit brings dental care to children in Cochise County with no access to a dentist.
