Local First Arizona’s monthly business mixers CONTINUE in Tucson for 2024! 

This May, we are excited to be hosted by KXCI Community Radio at their S 4th Ave location 

📻 KXCI is a landmark in Tucson local radio―and localism is at the heart of their business. 

📡 Join us for a tour of of KXCI’s main studios in the heart of the historic Armory Park neighborhood. Shelby Athouguia―host of KXCI’s late-night show Electric Feel―will be on-hand to answer all your questions. (And for all you music-lovers out there, you’ll get an up-close look at KXCI’s many thousands of CDs, vinyl records, tapes and other audio artifacts from 40+ years of broadcasting.) 

🎤 In addition, Shelby will share details about KXCI’s brand-new underwriting deal exclusive to Local First Arizona members. Wondering about how underwriting works? Interested in radio advertising and getting the word out about your business? Shelby has you covered. 

Who are Local First business mixers for? Everyone! These events aren’t limited to people that work for local businesses or nonprofits, they’re also great for emerging young professionals and community members that care about supporting local businesses. If you’re new to networking―or, could use some tips on how to maximize your time at this event―reach out to our Tucson-based team and we’d be happy to help. 

Is there a cost to attend the event? No. Local First mixers are free! 

Will there be food? Yes! KXCI will cater light bites and drinks for all attendees. 

New to Local First or interested in joining our Business Coalition? Come a little early and join us for New Member Orientation at 5:30pm. This will be an opportunity to get your questions answered and learn more about the value of Local First Arizona. (Existing members looking for a refresher on the programs, services and benefits available to them are welcome to join too.)
