The University of Arizona would be pleased to have you and your team join us at the NSF-DOE Rubin’s First Look event on Monday, June 23 from 7:30am – noon. This event is one of hundreds around the globe to celebrate the first images coming back from the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile, which utilizes a mirror cast right here in Southern Arizona to produce the most detailed time-lapse view of the cosmos that has ever existed. A formal invitation is attached.

    • 10:30a – Questions from local media and dialogue about what’s next in astronomy
    • 11:30a – Streamed summit tour from Chile
    • 12:00p – Closing remarks
