About the Emerging Leaders Program
The Tucson Metro Chamber's Emerging Leaders program is a prestigious year-long initiative designed to
cultivate the next generation of business and community leaders. This dynamic program brings together
a cohort of high-potential, under-40 professionals from diverse sectors, including private businesses,
government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
The Emerging Leaders program has expanded its scope to include two powerful new components
designed to create more impactful community leaders:
• Leadership Development Sessions: Interactive workshops and seminars led by renowned experts
in areas such as strategic planning, communication, negotiation, and personal branding.
• Mentorship Program: Each Emerging Leader is paired with a seasoned executive mentor who
provides invaluable guidance, support, and industry insights. These mentorships are carefully
curated to align with each participant's individual career goals and interests.
• Community Engagement Projects: Hands-on opportunities to engage in community service
initiatives and contribute to the betterment of Tucson and Southern Arizona.
• Networking Events: Exclusive events that connect Emerging Leaders with influential business
leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders, fostering valuable relationships and
expanding their professional networks.
Program Highlights
• Chamber Advocates Initiative: This new civic engagement program will provide participants with
hands-on experience in public policy and government relations. Members will work alongside
our Public Policy subcommittees to work on legislative processes and their impact on the
business community.
• Enhanced Mentorship Program: The Chamber has refined its mentorship program to ensure a
more personalized and impactful experience for each participant. Mentors are carefully selected
based on their expertise, industry experience, and alignment with the mentee's professional
goals.
