From Chamber Leadership to Industrial Real Estate: Alex Demeroutis’s Strategic Career Path

TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Metro Chamber is proud to spotlight one of its distinguished members, Alex Demeroutis, whose career journey from the Chamber world to commercial real estate exemplifies the power of strategic transitions and community dedication.

A native Tucsonan, Demeroutis began her commercial real estate career as a broker assistant to Jesse Blum at Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR, working alongside him since 2019. Prior to that, she spent eight years with the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, serving as Vice President and Events Director. Her Chamber experience laid the foundation for her client-focused approach in commercial real estate, equipping her with a deep understanding of business owners’ needs and challenges.

Demeroutis became an independent Industrial Specialist with Cushman & Wakefield | PICOR in 2022, where she now specializes in the leasing, acquisition, and disposition of warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, and research and development properties in the greater Tucson region. She is recognized for her ability to craft effective leasing and sales strategies for property owners while offering comprehensive tenant representation services. Her passion for helping businesses succeed has made her a standout professional in Tucson’s thriving industrial real estate sector.

As a member of C&W | PICOR’s industrial team, which represents 70% of all industrial transactions in Tucson, Demeroutis plays a critical role in supporting the region’s economic growth. Her diverse background in marketing and corporate event planning, combined with her extensive Chamber experience, provides her with a unique skill set that allows her to build strong relationships with clients and deliver strategic real estate solutions.

Demeroutis is a graduate of the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management, where she majored in marketing. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys weightlifting, dancing, performing comedy at Tucson Improv Movement, and exploring Tucson’s vibrant coffee and culinary scene.
