Park Place Mall Announces "Sonoran Snowfall" Shows for the Holiday Season

TUCSON, Ariz. (Nov. 27, 2024) – Park Place Mall is kicking off the holiday season with a flurry of fun at its inaugural Sonoran Snowfall, bringing the magic of snow to the desert.

Join a special Sonoran Snowfall Opening Reception at the Park Place Center Court’s Santa set. From 4 - 6 p.m. on November 29, experience live entertainment, performances and the first snowfall of the season.

At the Sonoran Snowfall Opening Reception, guests can enjoy:

·      Snowfall at 4 and 6 p.m.

·      Live holiday jazz tunes

·      Talented performers from Arts Express, the theater group located in the mall

·      Holiday crafts and activities for children at the free Kids’ Zone 

·      Light-up snowflake wands for the first 100 pre-registered kids

·      Complimentary hot cocoa, available on a first-come, first-served basis

Following the reception, snow will fall at the Park Place Center Court at noon, 4 and 6 p.m. every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday until December 22. The first 20 children who pre-register for any snow show will receive a light-up snowflake wand, and hot cocoa will be available at each of the shows with limited availability.

Additionally, Santa Claus will be visiting Park Place Mall this year for photos and visits. To avoid long wait times, guests are encouraged to pre-register for their preferred date and time. Santa will be available all season long:

·      November 22 – December 12:

o   Monday through Saturday: 11 a.m – 7 p.m.

o   Sunday: 12 – 6 p.m.

o   Closed Thanksgiving Day

·      December 13 – 23:

o   Daily from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.

·      December 24:

o   9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (RSVPs only)

Sensory-Friendly Santa Hours will be available Sunday, December 8 from 9 – 11 a.m., offering a quiet and relaxed atmosphere for families with special needs. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Pet Photos with Santa will also be available every Tuesday from November 26 to December 17 from 4 – 7 p.m. Pets and their families are invited to have a festive holiday photo with Santa.
